Do not book this tour. I checked out of my hotel after a wedding that finished at 4am for a 10am pick up and they did not show up. They did not email or call They did not reply to my messages They ruined my planned 3 day Cairo itinerary as I spent the day making last minute rebooking The only saving grace is that my refund was processed by Viator. Save your money, go somewhere else.

We went for the tour in Spanish - the experience might differ with an English speaking guide. We were picked up more than 40 minutes after the agreed pickup time. The guide have very poor knowledge of the sites he was showing, saying very little details of each place and rushing around the area. We couldn’t see the pyramids from the famous panoramic view, we had to ask for more time in each stop. The visit of Saqqara and Memphis was super rushed, I asked for an extra site I wanted to visit in Memphis and he refused, saying that it was too far and not included in the tour (first time during my 12 days in egypt that the guide doesn’t agree to wait me to see something in the site!!) he also mentioned several times we had to tip him and said the tip should be $5 per person. Also first time we’re so harassed to give tip and first time we were told how much tip to give!! Very rude. We went to have lunch at 2pm and were dropedd off to the hotel at 3pm so the tour was actually 5 hours, not 8 as stated. It was also meant to be a private tour and we had 2 people joining, which wasn’t an issue but weren’t offered any compensation. Also it’s mentioned that free bottled water is given and it wasn’t true. The only good aspect of the tour was the driver who went above and beyond. He was super nice and also asked us if we wanted to see something else after the tour had finished. The tour was only worthy because you need a driver to visit all this places. For the rest I wouldn’t recommend. Quite gutted we ended up with this guide.
