Egypt is spectacular! We ran short on time. But what a way to wrap things up. You only need to pack two things to travel, a loose plan and the flexibility to change it.
Ahmed, he was flexible and connected enough to make changes moments after we met to avoid us repeating sites we had already visited. Our private tour included stops at the Museum, Coptic city, a private falouka ride on the Nile (nonmotorized is the way to go), a delicious lunch, then then market. There were many highlights, as we felt safe taking our time moving through Cairo, but the high note was the quad bikes through the desert at sunset.
I can't describe the fun, the laughs, the thrill, of white knuckling it with the pyramids as the backdrop as you take photos chasing the sun! Yallaaaaaaa! Let's go! That's what I was yelling after the first drop!
