The museum is good in general. The mummies section is great but should be under more control. Visitors don’t respect the fact that mummies are dead humans. The rest of the museum is not well organized and can use more displays.

An immense museum that they have built which is state of the art and where we can see all the mummies in a swankier display.
The timings are a bit too weird as they close by 5 pm but they should look at extending it by couple of hours atleast.

We went on this tour on our first morning in Egypt and I'm so happy we did! It was the perfect way to get acclimated to the beautiful chaos that is Cairo.
Sarah, our guide, was perfect. She was extremely knowledgeable and taught us all about the history of Khan al Khalili and the Pyramids. Her excitement in showing us all the history was contagious. Everyone request Sarah to be your guide!
