    Great place. First time to se some fishes and other animals. Friendly stuff and very polite. Shark show is great. Thank you.

    We were extremely shocked at the state of some of the enclosures for the animals, especially in the outdoor area. The owls had a small cage that wasn't big enough to spread their wings and fly, there was no resting box or covering to simulate the wild. The bats had no area at all to hang around, they were clinging to bolts from the top of the cage and this was not nice to see. The animals such as the crocodiles and ostriches did not have adequate space at all. Indoors there was some empty tanks, some tanks with dead fish in them and others small and dirty. It was hard to enjoy the time spent here, although, there is a couple nice points such as seeing the larger aquarium indoor and the tortoises which you can [pick up and feed. This is no way makes up for the conditions.

    Wer sich für nicht-artgerechte Tierhaltung interessiert oder ein Herz für Aquarien mit mehr Beton als Biotop hat, wird im Hurghada Aquarium fündig. Fische, Schildkröten und andere Meerestiere vegetieren hier in viel zu kleinen Becken vor sich hin – als wären sie bloße Dekoration, nicht lebende Wesen. Ein Highlight für manche Besucher scheint es zu sein, Schildkröten hochzuheben und für Selfies zappeln zu lassen – natürlich unter Applaus derjenigen, die sich zwar nicht ins Meer trauen, aber keine Hemmung haben, Tiere wie Spielzeuge zu behandeln. Artenschutz? Fehlanzeige. Pädagogischer Wert? null. Wer Tiere liebt, sollte diesen Ort besser meiden.
