We visited this museum with our guide, so he explained everything. We saw lots of valuable exhibits, old statues, sarcophagi, carpets etc. on the ground floor and took many photos. On the basement we couldn’t take photos but we visited the royal mummies which were transported here in the Golden Parade. It was fantastic.

Un très beau musée où sont rassemblées, dans une crypte, 24 momies royales, y compris les plus célèbres : Séti I et II, Ramsès II, Hatsepsout… avec un résumé de leur vie. C'est tès impressionnant. Au rez de chaussée, une exposition de très belles pièces et un musée du textile. Une visite vraiment incontournable.

Non avevamo molte aspettative nel fare la visita al museo della Civiltà Egizia del Cairo invece si è rivelata una bellissima esperienza per capire meglio e a fondo la cultura egizia. Passeggiare tra i sovrani della nella Royal Mummies Hall, con 22 mummie reali, è stato un emozionante tuffo nel passato. Trovarsi al cospetto dei più importanti Faraoni della storia dell'Egitto è un evento che capita poche volte nella vita e che lascia il segno. Museo nuovissimo e all'avanguardia: DA ANDARE ASSOLUTAMENTE| Data dell'esperienza: ottobre 2017
