    Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor or your Nile Cruise to visit Abydos Temple, The site was the most important religious center of the ruler of the dead. Because of its association with the afterlife, many Egyptian kings constructed cenotaphs at Abydos, including the great New Kingdom cenotaph temple of Seti l Begun by Seti l and completed by Ramesses ll , This temple was built of fine white limestone and is one of the most impressive religious structures in Egypt. Then continue to Dandara, the area in which the temple is located. Is that of ancient Tantere( Greek Tentyris), a provincial capital and important religious site during several period of Egyptian history. The temple of Hathor which stands at the site today dates to the Graeco-Roman period, however, and is one of the best-preserved temples of this period in Egypt. Later you will be driven back to your hotel or your Nile Cruise in Luxor.

I am so happy we stayed an extra day to include these two incredible temples with our memories. The main pyramids are amazing of course, but these are so detailed and full of room after room of gorgeous detailing that is just breathtaking. We definitely enjoyed them even more than the museums because of their authenticity. If you're even thinking about taking this tour the answer is yes. Lunch was included and was absolutely even better than our dinner the night before at our hotel.
