The guide,Angie, and driver, Hadi, were excellent. I learned a lot from Angie. She was scholarly, friendly, very helpful and considerate. My tour started at 7 which was very good because the heat and sun are strong by 10. I really enjoyed the architecture and the story of Hepshepsut (sp?). I paid to see one extra tomb at the Valley of the Kings, which was very very well worth it. If someone is on the older side,like me, be prepared to descend and climb back up stairs and ramps to see the tombs. It is warm in side the tombs, but I had water, my fan, and simply took my time so it was not a big deal. The decorations in the tombs are beautiful and amazing. Paying attention to what Angie told me and what I saw in the tombs added so much to what I already knew about Ancient Egyptian mythology. I went to an alabaster factory and shop after the tour. The stop was my choice and th shop was not at all pushy. I enjoyed the shop and bought some lovely items. I enjoyed my morning tour very much!

Deze dagtrip was erg goed verzorgd. De gids gaf erg interessante uitleg over de historie. We hebben veel gezien en voldoende tijd gehad om rond te kijken. Aanrader voor studenten: omdat je de toegang van de tempels op locatie pas betaald, kun je korting krijgen met je studentenpas. Hierdoor is dit goedkoper dan wanneer je een trip boekt waar de toegang al inbegrepen zit.
