Day 1: Cairo To Baharyia Oasis by car / White Desert Tour Early morning your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo and head to Bahariya Oasis about 360 km east of Cairo this journey takes about 4 hours, Having lunch upon reaching Bahariya oasis. Then continue to visit the Black Desert and the natural hot spring of El Haize. Then Camp in the white desert or overnight at Farafra Oasis Hotel according to the possibility. Meals: Lunch, Dinner. What stood out the most during our tour was the staff’s hospitality. “Last Minute in Egypt” really knows how to take care of people. From preparing meals to guiding us through unknown terrains, they never seemed rushed or inattentive. It felt like traveling with old friends who wanted you to have the best time. Even at night, they made sure we were warm and comfortable in the desert wind.

Before the trip, I thought camping in the desert might be rough. I expected cold food, a bumpy ride, and uncomfortable sleep. But this tour was the opposite. I went with my partner, and we were completely taken care of. The car was spotless and air-conditioned. Our guide was patient and funny. The Black Desert had volcanic hills unlike anything I’d seen. The sunset at Agabat made us both speechless. The campfire dinner tasted homemade. Later, we lay on blankets watching shooting stars. Everything was clean, warm, and thoughtfully done. The team really knew the terrain and knew how to make us feel safe. I’m still dreaming of those giant chalk-white formations and how quiet everything felt. This wasn’t just a tour—it was a peaceful escape. Thank you to the crew for making it feel personal.

I wasn’t sure what to expect beyond sand and stars, but this desert tour surprised me on every level. From the moment we left Cairo, the landscape kept changing—blacks, golds, and blinding whites. I went with friends, hoping for something adventurous yet chill. The 4x4 drive through the Black Desert felt like an off-road movie scene. The Crystal Mountain was surreal. At night, our guide set up camp, cooked us delicious food, and we watched stars spill over silence. The staff were friendly, organized, and respectful from start to finish. I appreciated the small touches—extra water, warm blankets, jokes around the fire. It was both peaceful and exciting. My expectations were completely flipped. I came thinking I’d just see rocks and sand. I left feeling like I’d stepped on another planet and back. Absolutely worth doing, especially with this crew.
