This tour will take you to some of the most popular beach areas in El Salvador, La Libertad. this town is part of the project SURF CITY. El Salvador is well known for its waves which are good for practicing surfing year around.  This tour will take you to El Tunco village, where you can walk and experience SURF life, take note that during high tide there is no sand beach ( see photos ), and might not be suitable for swim. . First, you will walk to tamanique and have a walk to the falls, around 6 miles in total, you have to wlak down stairs, from the mountain to the canon, the walk does require some effort and appropriate shoes. Tamanique falls are 3 falls with different pools and cascades, you can also swim in the freshwater-cold , and then continue to El Tunco where you will have free time until 2pm. (returning time)

    Your day begins with a walking in nature to Tamanique falls, walk between the mountains of the south of El Salvador, the walk is about 6 miles in total, does requiered some effort, you will have some time to enjoy the bath and after we continue to El tunco where you will have free time to explore the area or perhaps take a surf lesson. Depart is at 745am and return from the beach at 2pm.

We took a half day tour to El Zunzal and el Tunco from San Salvador. It was a hot day and our only day to visit the beautiful beaches. The walk on the rocky beach was tiring but thankfully inter tours had a really nice hotel with a pool and facilities that we could use, which will be exactly what you need given the beach conditions - rocky and no beds by the beach. The best part about our tour was definetly our guide, Francisco! Very genuine and professional. Would definetly reccommend, thank you Francisco and Dina

Good day at the beach, the driver was great, beach was beautiful many surfers and the food was awesome.
