I was in the museum and I had a great time! Everyone seemed very happy. The exhibitions were very interesting, with well-put things and posters explaining everything clear. The staff was a sweetheart, always smiling and helping with any questions. It was easy to get around the place, everything was clean and there were places to rest or have coffee. The cultural vibe engulfed you, and you felt like you learned something new in every room. I came out with a smile and I want to come back!

Even with my little Spanish knowledge, Luis gave a very interesting and detailed tour about all aspects of emeralds and the history. The shop after is stunning and has given me plenty of ideas for future presents for my girlfriend and I will have to return!

Had a great time. Our tour turned out to be just my niece and I, very nice. The driver picked us up at the Hyatt regency at exactly 2 pm and dropped us off at our actual hotel in the walled city afterward for the same cost an Uber would have charged for the extra distance. Our guide spoke English, communication was not a problem. Very informative, felt safe buying jewelry in the showroom afterwards. Would highly recommend this excursion to anyone looking to fill a couple of hours in Cartagena.
