This 4+ hour tour took my wife and me and a group of other delightful visitors through some of the top culinary paths through Bologna. We watched tortellini being hand made by a trio of skilled women; saw every type of meat and cheese imaginable; then feasted on them with bread and wine. We topped off the tour with savory flavors of gelato which really helped beat the heat on a very hot day. Our guide, Gabriele, was entertaining, knowledgeable, and super friendly to all in the group. We could not have handpicked a more fun group of people to walk and talk with throughout the city. This is definitely a worthwhile tour to sample the delicacies of Bolgna!

The private food tour of Bologna was fantastic. It was over a 4 hour tour, tasting all kinds of local Italian dishes. Gabriel was our guide. He was extremely knowledgeable of the local cuisine, discussed in detail about the different dishes and local areas and history for which they were prepared. We were able to see pasta being made, learned the different between bolognese and Ragu, tasted 25 year old balsamic and drank some amazing wines local to the area. I would highly recommend Gabriel. He was kind, patient, energetic and happy to show us around Bologna!
