Treak Cliff Cavern is the only place where you can enjoy practical 'hands on' experience of crafting and working with Blue John Stone at its unique source. You spend time with our crafts people who will explain the tools and equipment you will use to help you create your very own necklace. You have access to skilled people in our on site work shop, doing what they do, using the mineral extracted from the mine you have just visited. This is a very unique opportunity that cannot be experienced anywhere else in the world.

A very enjoyable visit. The last time I was here we had a tour guide, now its an app that worked brilliantly. The workshop was excellent. Andy was fantastic and very knowledgeable. It was a really pleasurable and personal experience. I would have no qualms at all in recommending.

Worth a visit! Very interesting activity using the app tour. All of the staff were very friendly and well informed. We were a group of 4 adults, an 8 year old, a 2 month old baby and a dog! Some of the tunnels in the cave are quite low and some bits a bit steep but we managed with the baby in a carrier so its suitable for all! We also enjoyed polishing the stones, the staff member doing this was also very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about his work which added to our experience.
