We had a very friendly guide called Paul
Paul was Very knowledgeable about editing photos on iPhones and he Told us how to get good angles for the photos
Firstly, he Informed us of putting the “grid” setting on the camera to get a central shot
Introduced the tour with historical facts about the Victoria statue and council building and town hall
While walking round, he Talked us through what contrast, highlights and shadows meant on the photo editing settings
Paul the guide was very friendly and chatty, made everyone feel comfortable and kept checking we were all having a good time
He Took us to fantastic locations such as Colmore row , the library roof terrace and pigeon park.
He informed us of abstract art shots that would be ideal in black and white
He took us to the black sabbath bridge and showed us the hidden camera on the restaurant opposite which you can scan the QR code to see live footage of yourself which was very interesting.
He also encouraged us to take some scenic photos of the canals around Brindley place which was unusual and interesting to learn about different angles and aesthetics and taking unique shots.
I really I had a great time on the tour and found it both interesting and useful. I would definitely recommend pic tours and thought Paul was a fantastic guide.
