You have the opportunity to pony trek on bridleways (no roadwork) on beautiful circular routes through fields, woodland and the archaeological beauty spot of Creswell Crags that dates back to the Ice Age. Come and enjoy a scenic ride embarking on your journey from our farm that was built in 1610 on the most beautiful, kind natured horses and trekking through the most breathtaking scenery Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire has to offer. Very easily situated for bus routes, motorway and train station access.

Had a great hour at the Coloured Cob. All of us were beginners and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Excellent value as well. Wouldn't hesitate to go again

We took 2 children - a 3 year old and a 6 year old who had never ridden before on a 45 minute trek. I’m over 60 and haven’t been on a horse for many many years. The lady who checked us in and fitted our hats was friendly and good with the children. Our two horses and the two ponies had lovely temperaments. The girls leading the trek were absolutely wonderful, chatty and great with the children. They were singing songs and both children had so much fun and loved the trek. We went through the beautiful Creswell Craggs and around local countryside. We had such a lovely time making memories. It was a brilliant trek and very therapeutic.

The part where we went past the caves and the lake. The scenery is beautiful. The staff are very friendly and happy to help.
