Let us take you on a journey through the streets and snickleways and tell you about the shadows of York. Note: The tour is rated PG and not recommended for under 8's. The stories change from time to time. But they do contain in depth historic details, some of which can be dark, sad or gory. These may include executions, plague, suicide or any other grim facts. Dan was an excellent ghost story teller. Couldn’t be a better experience to be honest. I really appreciated his sincerity too when talking about some of the darker matters. Thank you!

Our tour leader, Dan, had an excellent, deep, mysterious sounding voice that all could hear. He told very sorrowful tales as well as some history as to why York is the most haunted city. He ensure that all stood safe from traffic. He also tried to engage the members before the start of the tour. A fun 99 minutes.

Very engaging tour guide. Lots of interesting stories. I was expecting to have a few frights down dark alleys, but it was a walking tour with stories.
