A mixed bag of great and just average. As a foodie I loved the local bakery options and the savoury galette with mushrooms and truffle, the Colombian plantain rice with coffee was also interesting but not very special. The Sparks margarita and pepperoni pizza were authentically boring. It’s just pizza and I can get that anywhere. The sticky toffee pudding was also very ordinary although the venue was a great quirky pub. I think the word foodie does not fit the pizza or the pudding. Marion was lovely with some great York insights.

Excellent tour, Marion was fantastic, had a wealth of and introduced us to new places we’d never been too before. Thank you for a fabulous food tour ????

This was a fabulous retirement gift from some friends. I know York reasonably well, yet Marion took me to some new places and some great food stops. It was lovely to share the experience with locals, visitors from the UK and international travellers, we talked for 3 hours as we walked and ate. The food highlights for me were the galette and Roberto's wonderful gelato menu.
