Windsor Castle and Windsor is well worth visit. If the timings work out it's definitely worth getting there for 10.45am to see the changing the guard on Thursday & Saturday. Walk down from the castle towards the river Thames and cross the bridge and you will be in Eton. To make the most of your time at Windsor Castle, pick up one of the free multimedia guides at the start of your visit or bring your own headphones. Available in various languages. Great driver/car, very friendly. We discovered that the tour description was unclear regarding entry tickets for castle entry and tour, but the driver Melanie was able to get us entry tickets while we were in the car. The instructions have since been clarified in the online description (entry tickets not included in price of the tour). Although it’s a long ride and an expensive excursion, it was worth it to see the castle and the changing of the guard.
