    This is just one sight we see as we walk around the Montpellier Quarter and Centre of Harrogate, stopping at 5 different restaurants to try their delicious vegan options. We will spend about 20-30 minutes in each stop and walks between the restaurants are short and gentle. In each of these great independents, we have chosen something for you to taste to enjoy. You will be having the equivalent of a long lunch so you will feel more than satisfied. Tours are small and you enjoy the company of other like minded people. Our guide will keep you entertained throughout.

Really good afternoon, Louise was an excellent guide and host, very knowledgeable about Harrogate and also the food.at each location. We would definitely recommend this to all of our friends!

Louise was a lovely guide. We enjoyed the company too of the other participants. Starter was a giant cous cous salad which was very tasty. Portion size obviously sneaker than that on their menu but a fair portion for a tour. Then on to pizza where we had two slices each. The pizza was very nice but as a pizza lover I would have loved an extra slice! We then went to a Spanish tapas restaurant and had roasted cauliflower with almonds and tomato slices with pomegranate seeds. Tasty, but not overly adventurous. Last port of call for food was Vanillis for ice cream where we tried 8 or more spoonfalls of vegan ice cream made with oat, soya and coconut milk. That was really nice to try. We then were offered a pot of our favourite to have. Last stop was the micro brewery where we had a glad of anything we liked and parted company from our guide. Overall we really enjoyed the afternoon. I would recommend the tour either include one extra dish and give some more variety. Or lower their price if they could afford to do so. Thanks though for a enjoyable afternoon and Louise was lovely.

Louse the guide was fantastic, very friendly and knowledgeable about both Harrogate and Vegan food - a brilliant host. She provided interesting facts about beautiful Harrogate, whilst walking between venues. Whilst this part of the tour was exceptional, along with the good company we had on the tour, I have to say the food aspect let the tour down. The venues and quality of the food was faultless, but I found the food itself uninspiring and very basic. Couscous salad to start, slice of pizza, beef tomato and cauliflower for the main, and ice cream for dessert didn’t exactly promote the concept of vegan dining. In addition the portion size was definitely to serve as a taster only rather than act as a meal you would expect in a restaurant. This was disappointing given the cost of the tour. One other point to note was there was no choice of food in each venue other than for the ice cream. Whilst I enjoyed the afternoon overall I would have to say I did not find the tour value for money given the lack of choice, portion size and how basic the food was. Hungry when we left, so we ordered food to be delivered for when we got back home.
