Even with the recent hikes in inflation & fuel prices, we've found that the cost of reliable one-way private transfers between Southampton and LHR average about £130 to £145 PER CAR. That's good for two or three plus luggage, obviously higher for minibuses (vans in American-speak)
Per person fares make sense for buses and trains & planes, not for private transfers

Driver was at the port on time ready to pick us up. He originally went to the wrong ship but patience prevailed. He helped with baggage and was very courteous. I would use Celine again!

Never showed up, operator never responded to my messages sent the day prior to pickup to confirm time and location for our pickup, operator phone is disconnected, and my call to Viator cost over $50 USD to try and get help. The Viator support people were no help is resolving my issue. I am now out almost $400 USD between the nonrefundable (even though the operator never showed?) ride and the phone call to Viator (over $50 USD). Had to take a local taxi with last minute prices to get to the airport and make my flight. Viator looks like a scam outfit to me. Lesson learned, never again!
