Learn to surf with experienced surf coaches, discover a hidden coastline as you coasteer around the stunning Towan Headland, before heading off to our private Cornish woodland for a relaxed evening of camping under the stars. Worlds away from the Newquay nightlife, our handcrafted wild campsite is decked out with bell tents, fairy lights, fire pits and all sorts of fun woodland activities. Ideal for solo travellers, couples and small groups of friends looking for a unique head-to-toe dunking in the laid-back Newquay lifestyle. Join us!

  • Wetsuits, surfboards, coasteering safety equipment
  • Swimwear (to wear under your wetsuit) shoes for the beach (surfing) a pair of lace up trainers you don’t mind getting wet (coasteering) and a towel. If it is sunny, we would also advise sun cream and a bottle of water. If you require any medication, such as an inhaler for example, please ensure that you bring it along and advise your coach before the session.
  • Joining us for a Wild Camp Experience means you’ll be out in the elements from the late afternoon through to the following morning.
  • 1 litre of water per person

This is one of the best weekends we have ever had. Viktor our guide was amazing. The glamping was sensational. Coasteering was totally out my comfort zone but Viktor made sure everyone was happy and safe and it was my favourite part. The surf lessons were brilliant and I can’t rate this package enough. The group we were with were fantastic and I cannot express how much you must do this. It helped the weather being real nice and all the staff were lovely and helpful. But Viktor though…… he was the best!!!!

This is going to be a long list since everyone was amazing so hold on :D I joined the Surf, Coasteer & Wild Camp weekend adventure two weeks ago and I had a great time beyond my expectations. From the moment I arrived at Cornish Wave, I felt like I was one of the team and not just a customer. Max and James made me feel super welcomed with their hilarious jokes and chill vibes :D ????????Our instructor Matt was a great guy who was very calm and patient and also a very good cook :P Victor was funny and easy going. I was a little worried being a solo traveller but ended up being so lucky with an amazing group! Surfing and Coasteering were lots of fun with them. The camp site was beautiful and cosy. We had a delicious barbeque, marshmallows around campfire, axe throwing and watching shooting stars. The next morning, we had one of the best yoga sessions with Aimee who has such a great energy. I left feeling peaceful, grateful and amazed by the whole experience so thank you all for everything! I’d love to be back next year ????????
