The Cavern Club, Liverpool, United Kingdom Cavern Club doors open It all started on 16th January 1957 when the Cavern Club Doors were opened on Mathew Street. The owner, Alan Sytner, named the club after the Paris jazz club, Le Caveau de La Huchette. Sytner intended for the club to be the top jazz venue outside of London.

The trip, from start to finish was well organised, well suited and great staff. Our tour guide was fun, well informed and very chatty. Our driver took great care on busy roads.

Started really well… me and my two kids started off at Billy Fury’s statue and the first few clues were fun and informative info. Great idea to get us around the town and learn a bit as we go… However - all went wrong around Mathew Street… Cilla’s statue is no longer there so that clue became redundant and the last few clues became almost impossible to crack
Developers need to be aware of the fact that one of their clues is no longer to be found!
