So lucky to have found Sarah with all the other options. She was knowledgeable, responsive, interesting and informative. It was our first visit to York and we received a wonderful overview of the history and significance of the city. She also gave us recommendations for meals and other activities. I'm now reading a historical novel about the city from her suggestions. It was a wonderful tour and I'm sorry we didn't have time for more.

Alfred, our guide, was extremely likeable and very knowledgeable about the subject. We thoroughly enjoyed our walk through York under his guidance. However I do have a couple of feedback points which would only further enhance the 5 star experience he delivered. 1. It would help if the guide doesn't explain things while the group is walking and instead wait for everyone to assemble. There were a few times when I was left walking a little far behind due to the crowd and missed what was spoken while everyone was walking. 2. It would also help if the narrative, especially in the beginning, is in chronological order so that audience like us who had very little prior knowledge can follow the timelines of different rulers of York.
