Blaze a trail and join our York Fire Walk, as we light the fuse of the city's fiery history. In the company of our expert guides, Dr Simon Rogerson and Dr Liam Herringshaw, you'll meet a far-sighted volcano-chaser, the Frenchman who saved York from burning to the ground, and discover how York Minster popped up in the Land of Fire. Oh yes, and there's a chap called Guy Fawkes. On the York Fire Walk, there are bound to be fireworks! We are also happy to offer the York Fire Walk as a private tour. Well told, sready paced tour along the Fosse and Ouse, full of history and making interesting connections. We are locals and learned a lot. Simon had maps and old photographs that we passed round and compared with the present view. There was wit and wisdom and every question had a full yet brief answer. Real value for money!

This was a really interesting and informative walk. Guides were really clued up on the subject, and made it fun too.
