Upon entering into the Vatican Museums you will be immersed in the glory of art and culture put in the service of faith. The greatest artists of all time will welcome you: Raphael in the Stanze, Michelangelo in the Sistine Chapel, Giotto, Leonardo, and Caravaggio in the Pinacoteca, van Gogh, Matisse, and Moore in the area dedicated to Contemporary Art. You will see, with the Laocoön Group and the Apollo Belvedere, the greatest masterpieces of Classical Antiquity. You will encounter centuries and millennia as you enter the Etruscan and Egyptian Museums, along with non-European civilizations in the Ethnological Museum.

  • The Vatican Museums provide free entry for visitors who are (according to the requirements stated by the Vatican City) at least 74% disabled with the appropriate certification and provides free entry to caretakers: please inform the local partner when booking if you fit into these requirements

My only complaint is the attitude of the tour operator in the main office. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name but she was very rude and abrupt with us. Additionally she changed our meet up point at the very last minute causing use to have to re-route and get to the tour late which then forced us into a later tour slot. However, the actual tour guide was amazing. Very informative and friendly.
