Mein Mann und ich haben den Ausflug mit Beki in den Menagesha-Wald sehr genossen. Nach 2 Stunden Aspaltstrasse und Piste gelangt man von Addis aus in einen wunderschönen weitgehend natürlichen Wald mit uralten Exemplare der einheimischen Juniperus-Bäume, Farnen, Wasserfällen und vielem mehr. Die Wanderung bergauf ist zwar beschwerlich aber es lohnt sich: schöne Ausblicke auf die weiten Ebenen, gute Luft und viel Natur! Eine wirklich schöner Ausflug zur Erholung von der turbulunten Stadt Addis Abeba.
