Joy of Rome is a sheer delight! We went on 4 tours with them and all were supremely fantastic! The wonderful Serena took us on The Highlights of Rome walking tour and the next day the Ancient Rome tour. We then had the delightful Giulia guide us on the very special Tour Tivoli and finally Francesca who showed us around The Vatican. All guides and tours were first rate and i recommend our guides and The Joy of Rome tours to make your stay in Rome extra special!

The guide provided excellent history and context for all the points of interest. Alessandra added points of interest at our request. She took us to a local bakery for sweets and espresso. Highly recommend this tour!

This was the very first tour that we did on our trip and Cristiano was an excellent guide. We met in Campo de' Fiori after a quick breakfast in the open market. The market was awesome and really immerses you into the Italian culture. After learning about the area we moved on to Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps. Cristiano was very informative, patient with our kids, and generally just great company. He not only informed us of the area but also gave us tips on navigating the city and selecting restaurants. Hot tip select a restaurant one block away from main attractions, without someone begging you to come in, and listen for the Italian accents. If there are a lot then the food is good Italian food.
We always double-check the availability with our local partners for each booking. Even though this is usually a swift process, it can take up to 24 hours. Once this process is completed you will receive your voucher or ticket by email. If our local partner is not able to confirm your booking we will offer you the best possible alternative. If the new date and/or time doesn’t fit your itinerary, we will reimburse the full amount paid.
