Starting from Catania, one our guide will lead you along a beautiful naturalistic path, while explaining the origins of our  Volcano. At 2000 mt you will catch cable car to reach 2500 mt and then on a 4x4 vehicle you will go up 2950 mt. Alpine guides will show you the beautiful landscape of the base of the summit craters seeing at 1 km of distance the main crater. * In winter time, in case the trails are covered by a thick layer of snow (usually from January to March), part of the excursion will take place using snowshoes and sticks. It could be possible that you will go on the snow cat vehicle with an extra cost of 30 euro per person. Then, join with us the visit of a cave of volcanic origins with all the equipment provided by us. At lunchtime enjoy an outdoor picnic made of Sicilian typical street food, water, red wine and typical sweets. During winter time, the outdoor picnic could be substituted by lunch in a Chalet with pizza, because of the low temperatures.

    Spend the day discovering one of the world’s most beautiful and active Volcanoes during this small-group trip to Mt. Etna. Depart in the morning from Catania and head to Rifugio Sapienza at Etna’s base. Travel by cable car and off-road vehicle up to the volcano’s craters, and go for a hike at 3000 meters! Visit a cave of volcanic origins with the equipment provided by us (helmets and torches).

Great trip! Our guide was fantastic, nice and very well informed. His English was perfect. He knows everything about Etna, summits, all stones and plants. It was one of the most interesting tour I ever been. Thank you????

Una esperienza incredibile, ci siamo trovati in un ambiente straordinario, ci aspettavamo da un momento all'altro di vedere i rover di Marte. Ed effettivamente I robot sono stati testati proprio sull'Etna. Emozionante. Unico. I criteri sommitali sono chiusi dal 2021, il vulcano è in attività. Ma anche stare a un km dalla vetta, passeggiando tra i crateri ti rendi conto di come sia immenso questo vulcano. Da lontano pensi al cono sommitale, in realtà il sistema vulcanico è l'intera montagna. La vista sulla valle del Bove, dove normalmente scarica le colate laviche, è stranissima, sembra dibaffacciarti su un mare nero. Abbiamo poi visitato una grotta di scorrimento lavico, sei all'interno del vulcano! La nostra guida Claudio è stata eccezionale, ci ha accompagnato per tutta la giornata raccontandoci ogni aspetto del vulcano, la geologia la storia, la natura e tante curiosità. Competente e piacevole è riuscito a trasmettere il suo amore per la sua terra, la sua passione per lo studio, l'insegnamento e il suo lavoro. Grazie infinite! Hai reso questa giornata ancora più ricca e indimenticabile. Ha avuto anche la capacità di tenere unito e accontentare un gruppo estremamente eterogeneo, e non è da tutti! Davvero complimenti! Ha trasmesso una grande fiducia anche a chi non è abituato a camminare in montagna. Che altro dire... fate questa esperienza! Provare per credere!
