Everest Base Camp Trek With Local Expert Sherpa Guide

We trekked to EBC over 11 nights and had a great time. We were so happy with our porters, our guide and the staff at Mountain Sherpas. We took a helicopter to Lukla when all fixed wing aircraft were cancelled and a few of our group took a helicopter part of the way down and our guide and the owner of Mountain Sherpa arranged everything with very little notice. It really was very easy. I loved that our guide and our porters were Sherpa as this made us feel like they knew the mountain and terrain very well. We loved our guide Pema and by the end of our trek we felt as we had become friends with everyone. We are just so happy with how Mountain Sherpas handled every aspect of our trip. I highly recommend Mountain Sherpas for any type of trekking in the Himalayas.

My trip was all that I had dreamed about. Everyone at Mountain Sherpa Trekking was extremely helpful and professional. The itinerary, lodging, transportation, etc were well planned and efficient. My guide (Ming-Ma Aprehs) was knowledgeable, always pleasant and supportive, and for a bonus would airdrop me fabulous pictures that he had taken during the day. By the end of the adventure I had made a good friend.

We booked a 14 Nights/ 15 days Everest base camp trek organized by Mountain Sherpa Trekking & Expeditions. The entire experience was just so wonderful and hassle free. Local Guides – Our Sherpa Guide Mr. Rinji Sherpa was so expert, reliable and open. He made the complete trekking experience great! He was always around and also helps us to arrange various activities to make the journey more exciting. Arrangements - The trek was extremely organized initial from the trip briefing a day before we fly to lukla airport to the end of the expeditions. We had a briefing meeting in our hotel in Kathmandu where we were given a trek briefing of whole itinerary. We were also given duffle bags and good quality sleeping bags for the trek. Every small detail was thought of. After the trek, Sumba provided us very special one-hour ayurvedic massage, which was truly impeccable after the long hiking efforts. Food - The food on the trek was just delicious up there. Our guide Rinji make sure that we have enough food during whole trek. Every meals prepared in Local Sherpa lodge was well cooked and hygiene. From breakfast to the dinner, food was always good on the trip! We had our breakfast and dinner at the same lodge where we stay in overnight. The food is simple, but really very good, and the most important is our guide Rinji Sherpa provide us sufficient food to eat as per our choice. Accommodation – During the whole trek most of the rooms were clean, the dining room was heated well in the evening except few places in the higher altitude. We got even take a hot shower and buy Wi-Fi. We were very happy with the sleeping bags and the down jackets we borrowed from Mountain Sherpa Trekking. Lastly and the most essential, huge thanks to the porter who made this expedition so successful!! Our porter was so dedicated and hard working that we cannot thank him enough!! We highly recommend Mountain Sherpa trekking & expeditions for doing the Everest Base Camp Trek. Mr. Tandi Sherpa, Mr. Pasang Sherpa, our guide Mr. Rinji Sherpa and the porter was perfect and very helpful. Their service was mind-blowing!!
