    Pick up at the point of origin with a journey time to Granada of 90 min. We visit the Alhambra with a local guide, a unique monument in the world for its beauty. It consists of a group of old palaces, gardens and a fortress (Alcazaba), initially conceived to house the Emir and the court of the Nasrid Kingdom, later as the Castilian royal residence and its representatives. Its artistic uniqueness lies in the interiors of the Nasrid Palaces, whose decoration is among the pinnacles of Andalusian art, as well as in its location and adaptation, generating a new landscape that is fully integrated with the pre-existing nature. In addition, it houses a museum of Andalusian art, the main art gallery of the city as well as an old convent converted into a national Parador.

    There are no more than 5 stars available to describe the experience. Alhambra is a great example of how cultures blend into each other and adopt best out of them. The palaces, gardens and cathedral are designed with fineness of art, nature and culture. Everything there has a reason behind it and it was well explained by our local guide Monica in an easy to understand way.

    The tour was absolutely amazing! The drive from Malaga to Granada was picturesque. The guide who brought us through the Alhambra was highly informative. We learned so much while taking in the beauty of the place. We had some time left over afterward to walk in Granada. As this was a day excursion while in port, our guide and driver were always thoughtful of the time to ensure that we would be back to port in a timely manner. Overall, the day tour was wonderful!
