Rancho Gaucho Estate Expeditions 3 Days

Increíble cabalgata de 3 dias con Diego and Nico. Comimos exquisito y vimos paisajes q ni sabia que existían en argentina. Muy muy muy recomendado!

What an experience this was. We (two of us) were picked up from our hotel in central Mendoza, then driven up into the mountains to the north of the city. The two of us saddled up with Diego (the main guy), were taught the ropes, before heading out onto the trail. Don't worry if you can't/can barely ride a horse - we couldn't either! The scenery and views were extraordinary, and Diego was a wonderful guide - both very knowledgeable and helpful. Despite our questionable expertise aboard these beautiful horses, we were trusted to gallop into the ranch to conclude the two hour ride. This wasn't it though, with a wonderful lunch cooked on the grill for us. Having sampled plenty of Argentinian beef on our travels, this was the best we had had, particularly when combined with the homemade chimichurri. Diego also got us in touch with a white-water rafting company, and organised us to go and do that in the afternoon, before making sure we got back to the hotel in time to be picked up. Overall, this was an incredible experience, and cannot big this up enough. If you're in Mendoza, you just have to do it.

Ce qui fut un imprévu nous a tout silplement émerveillé. La chambre d'hôtes où nous dormions nous a proposé une virée à cheval à la découverte de la montagne. Diego est venu nous chercher jusqu'à notre chambre d'hôtes. Très accueillant, sur le trajet pour aller jusqu'au ranch, il a pris soin de nous renseigner sur les choses à voir dedans et hors de sa ville. À notre arrivée au ranch, l'escapade a démarré par un entraînement dispensé par Diego tout en douceur. Ses chevaux sont très bien dressés. Ils obéissent à merveille. C'est parti pour 2h30 de ballade à trois à travers les sentiers montagneux qui nous ont offerts de merveilleux paysages.Diego n'a de cesse de se soucier du bien être de ses invités et se fait une joie de partager sa passion et son histoire. À mi parcours de notre virée à cheval, une pause maté accompagnée de gâteaux locaux nous a été proposé par diego, l'occasion d'échanger sur les coutumes, traditions et croyances locales, un vrai moment de partage. Sur le chemin Diego nous a initié aux senteurs et uilisations des herbes aromatiques. Nous sommes d'ailleurs répartis avec quelques brins. Le retour se fait avec à l'horizon un merveilleux couché du soleil, avec également une initiation au trot et pour les plus courageux au galop. Ayant une confiance totale en Diego et ses chevaux nous n'avons pas hésité à relever le défi. À notre retour au ranch, Diego nous montre la dizaine d'autres chevaux qu'il possède. Si vous êtes de passage dans la région de Mendoza, nous vous recommandons vivement de faire appel à ses services. Nous gardons un magnifique souvenir de notre journée avec lui.
