Bob was a great guide. Very informative. Was not as impressed with the viewpoint. Basically a parking lot by the Murphy dome. You just get in and out of the van as you wish and wait for the lights. There are a lot of outdoor lights on the dome that cause light pollution for viewing.

Seeing the Aurora was breathing taking from horizon to horizon!!! Loved the new people we met and our guide Eliza was excellent in every way!

Though the sky was crystal clear, we saw no lights for the first hour, and then it all came alive! What a mystical, spiritual experience! Just seeing the stars that close and clearly and even seeing the Milky Way was worth the price of admission. The lights, though... OMG! You should note that this tour is in just a (nice) van. There's no campfire or yurt or any place beyond the van to warm up. Also, the condensation on the windows freezes, so you do have to get out to see the lights, which is fine, except that for us it was -21 degrees. Our guide, Alison (or Alyssa... or something like that) was very sweet and helpful.
