Private Tour of Neuschwanstein and Linderhof From Füssen

Amir was the perfect tour guide! He was as friendly and set up a great day for us at the castle and surrounding area. His knowledge of the history was even better than what we learned on the Neuschwanstein tour itself. We would recommend him to anyone wanting to visit!

Amir was an ultimate professional throughout the entire experience of planning and conducting the tour. He was always polite, enthusiastic and extremely responsive as we communicated ahead of the tour. On the day of the tour, he was on time and a wonderful person to spend the day with - not only does he clearly know the area and all of its major attractions very well from an executional standpoint (i.e. he literally knew everybody working at Neuschwanstein when we went, and they all seemed to really like him), he is a student of history who truly enjoys showing others these impressive sites. He and my 11 year old son spent much of the day trading facts and stories and Amir even had a surprise gift or two in store for him and my daughter. Amir is also super flexible - we had originally planned to see Neuschwanstein and then go to Zugspitze for the afternoon, but with temperatures already being quite cold, we decided to scrap the afternoon plan and head to Oberammergau for lunch and then a tour of Linderhof instead. Amir was the architect of the change, telling us our options, the pros and cons of each, and then we jointly decided and he moved the tour on, as if nothing had ever been altered. Finally, Amir is just a really good, genuine person. We spent much of the drive time of the day talking about his life, family and experiences that brought him to Germany, and traded tales of our background, as well. He was engaging and forthright throughout, and a superbly transparent individual (in a world that maybe doesn't have as much of these anymore). He truly appreciates what he does each day and it means a lot to him that his clients have a wonderful experience. In summary, if you're looking for somebody who will just set up a basic Bavarian tour and drive you around all day, Amir can absolutely do this, but that would probably be a waste. Instead, if you value an experience with somebody who really appreciates and knows the history of the area and will treat you like a good friend, then you should *definitely* reach out to Amir. I will definitely be recommending him to any of my friends who may be heading to the area and who I know will value the unique set of expertise and personality he can provide.
