This tour permits enjoy the unique beauty of the Far North of Israel. It encompasses visits to three unique National Parks where History is combined with Nature. We shall visit Tel Dan, where fascinating nature is combined with the glorious history. We shall continue to Banias Natural Reserve to see a place which the Ancient Greeks and Romans believed to be a gateway to Hades-hell. Finally, we shall walk to see the Banias Waterfall - the biggest and the most beautiful one in Israel.

    Tel Dan Nature Reserve at the North of Israel is one of the most beautiful National parks of the country. Its noisy small brooks and rivers, ever-green forest an natural paths are tremendously beautiful. But this is also the site of the ancient Temple which used to compete the one at Jerusalem

    The Nature Reserve Banias was believed by the Ancients to be the Gateway to the Underground World, the Hades. This area is outstandingly beautiful at any time of a year. The remnants of the antique temples still stand. Another outstanding attraction of this site are the excavations of the Ancient Caesareas Philippi town. Here Jesus disclosed his Nature before the Apostles.

This private tour was great, and our guide made sure that we got to see each of the sites listed in itinerary even if briefly. The drive is quite long (over 3 hours each way) so expect 7 hours of the day spent in the car. Ideally, it would be better to spend more than a day seeing these sites, but they are worth the trip and a private guide is the way to go. Beautiful nature and amazing fortress. Thanks for a great busy full day
