The Luau was excellent. The sunset behind the live music and show was gorgeous. The fire dancers were amazing and the printed photo was the perfect token for the night. The open bar was nice and the service was great. The food was good.

We went to this luau on our honeymoon to Maui, an easy choice because we were staying at the Andaz. It’s the only luau either of us have attended? So we don’t have anything to compare it to, but we had a wonderful evening! The vibe was excellent from the start, with a friendly and attentive staff, spaced apart tables that feel very COVID safe, a complimentary photo, yummy drinks from the open bar, and an unbelievably gorgeous view of the sunset. The show itself was lovely, with great music, dancing, and storytelling, and I appreciated how they have updated their food service in light of COVID to bento boxes with samples of each food—we left very full and happy to have tried everything. All in all a great evening that we will remember as a special part of our honeymoon forever!

Let me start out by saying how exceptional the staff that manages the luau was. My original luau was canceled due to rain and wind. I was so upset; this was the show I was looking forward to and my husband had never been to a luau before. I tried everything to get into the next show but it was sold out and because of covid restrictions, it was difficult to add people last minute. Luckily a family canceled and my husband and I were still able to go to the next show. The concierge called me immediately because they knew how upset I was. Being a guest at the hotel where the luau takes place, they accommodated as best they could. The aggravation was worth it; the whole luau was wonderful. The amount you pay is no chump change, however I truly think you get what you pay for. The photographer was wonderful with souvenir photos, the leis were made of beautiful shells, the food was fantastic and contained so many choices, and the bar was wonderful. We loved the entire experience and the show was so entertaining and informational. We loved learning about Hawaiian culture, got beautiful pictures and had an amazing time. We can’t wait to come back and experience this luau again.
