    In the morning after meeting you, we will start a day trip to Volubilis and Meknes at 9:00 from your accommodation in Fez. We will visit the the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis and spend enough time to explore the ruins of 2000 years and get a picture of life during the Roman Empire, Upon arrival in Meknes, one has a magnificent view of the Medina. The tour begins with a tour of the walls with monumental doors dating from the seventeenth century Berdaïne Bab, Bab Khemis. We continue exploring the city through the stables (Rua), attics (HERI) and Stud. The necessary stop at the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum was for a long time the only mosque that non-Muslims could visit in Morocco. Then leave by the famous Bab Mansour El in the vast Hedim square. Across the square, the Museum of Moroccan Art "Dar Jamai" offers a wide variety of handicrafts, then we return to Fez.

La ruta ha sido muy interesantes. A Meknes tuvimos que cojer otro guia que nos costó 50 dírham cadauno. Estuvo bien pero es una pena que no lo haga la acompañante Charaafa que es muy preparada y amable y sobre todo es una pena que ahora en la ciudad está casi todo por obras y no se pueda visitar. Aconsejo de todas maneras la ruta porque está bien organizada.

Highly recommended trip, great day out with fellow travellers. Driver spoke good English & French. Make sure y oh head to Moulay Ismail tomb in Meknes , lovely & calm great mosaics . Volubis is really interesting and a great Roman city with interesting guides !
