  • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
  • Please advise any specific dietary requirements at time of booking
  • A weight limit of 150 kg applies for safety reasons.
  • One unheated unisex forest toilet available for the visitors
  • It can get very chilly in the Arctic. During winter season, please wear layered thermal undergarments & overall / insulated trousers & jacket, warm head gear and gloves, and sturdy, warm winter shoes for this program. During summer season, please protect yourself against mosquitoes and wear sturdy walking shoes or rubber boots.
  • Program is not operated under -23°C or in stormy wind conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Such a magical and peaceful experience! This has been our second time now and it was just as good as the first. We walked with Riitta to the hammock area through the forest and she has such a wide knowledge of everything that lives there. We loved hearing all about it. We’d do this again in a heartbeat.

Couldn’t be more positive about this amazing experience! If you’re looking for a unique activity in Lapland where you really get to connect with this beautiful place, Halipuu forest is the place to be! This was our second time cocooning in the forest. We had to come back as we loved this so much last year. You can tell Riitta is so passionate about everything that’s going on in Halipuu forest. Everything is thought of and at the end of the experience you get to enjoy your own roasted bread buns on the fire, a hot black current juice and homemade marshmallows. Highly recommend adding this to your Lapland bucketlist❤️
