We recently took a trip to Korouoma Canyon with Lapland Welcome and it was a fantastic experience. Our guide, Jan was very friendly and knowledgable and knew all the best photo spots! The valley is beautiful, we were lucky to have a sunny day with snow-covered pine trees. The drive there from Rovaniemi is quite long (approx 1.5 hours), however the scenery on the journey is beautiful!

We enjoyed the hike to the frozen waterfalls a lot! During this 6 km long hike, there was enough time to take photos and to enjoy the wonderful nature. At the end of the walk, we had a lunch by open fire which was also very nice! David was a great and enthusiastic guide with a good sense of humor. He took care of us from the very beginning and made us feel comfortable throughout the trip. He has a lot of knowledge about the canyon. I really recommend this snowshoe trip to people who love nature and challenging hikes!
