This was our second visit to Mänttä and these beautiful museums! Today we enjoyed both Pääkonttori and Kartano. Riiko Sakkinen's Los Moimois was really powerful, even raw somehow. It raised a lot of questions and made me think. Exhibitions in Kartano were impressive too. The masks spoke with so many words and languages! Thank you!

Serlachius Museum Gösta toont prachtige Europese kunst uit de 16e en 17e eeuw, maar bovenal de topstukken van de Finse schilderkunst, zoals Helene Schjerfbeck, Akseli Gallen-Kalleli, Hugo Simberg. Serlachius Museum Gustav vertelt de geschiedenis van de houtindustrie in Mänttä.

We visited this museum during the Banksy exhibition. Interesting collection of classic and modern art, definitely worth a visit.
