The Northern Lights hunting is a bestseller outdoors night tour. 2,5 hours in a traditional tent with a campfire on a lake shore. Warm outfit (if the temperature is under -15 degrees outside), a professional guide, hot drink and snacks on fire and hopefully the main feature - the Aurora Borealis will make you feel the real spirit of Lapland.

Everything was perfect. The guide was very professional with tons of information to share. The campfire was very nice, we enjoyed it very much. We were also lucky and could see some lights! I really recommend the tour. You will enjoy even if you cannot see the lights.

Comparing to our northern lights hunting in Iceland,Iceland tour was far better than in rovaniemi.Unfortunately for the 2nd time hunting there were no northern lights again,but our tour guide who doesn’t speak very good english didn’t even try harder to hunt us one.he tried his best to accomodate us

Guide was ok but it was too overcast to see anything. Kept comparing northern lights to a rainbow in terms of appearance. At least you know not to look for a rainbow when it hasn't been raining. The tour should have been cancelled given the conditions. Sitting in frigid weather around a small campfire watching food cook on a grill that has never been cleaned wasn't particularly enjoyable.
