    Here you will be able to encounter animals that are local to this arctic region. The most popular are the moose and the polar bears. The zoo also shows you over 200 famous local animals, such as forest reindeer, wolves and the arctic fox. Stop by the forest park in the middle of the trek for your lunch.

Our guide Franco was amazing! He made the whole day great. Zoo was worth the trip. We didn’t get to see the polar bear but the owls, wolves, moose, Wolverine and muskox were pretty cool!

A good workout but definitely would not be at the top of the priority list in terms of experiences. Too few variety and animals to see, to brave the cold. Guide who took us was friendly though. She brought us around and tried to make the walk as enjoyable as possible. BBQ was nothing special - standard sausages, marshmallow and blueberry juice.
