With NortsaV Tours, experienced local company, Rovaniemi-Ranua Zoo transfer with minivan takes aprx 1 hour.  This about 2,5 km long, self walking track, in the magical forest will allow You to meet nearly 200 animals and birds that can be found in the arctic areas. The zoo is outdoors, so prepare Yourself with adequate clothing. The excursion suits for the whole family. There are some sledges (winter) and carriages (summer) available for smaller children, in case they get tired of walking. After the visit You´ll have a free time for shopping in the small boutiques. Buffet lunch available for extra charge, bookable separately on NortsaV Tours site. Duration of the excursion is 5 hours.

    Enjoy a complimentary hotel pickup and transfer from Your accommodations to the Ranua Zoo by NortsaV Tours, local experienced company. Transfer time is one aprx 1 hour. On arrival You will enter Arctic animal world and start a tour. This about 2,5 km easy walk in the magical forest will allow You to meet nearly 200 animals and birds that can be found in the arctic areas. Nice experience, comfortable vehicle. Our guide Normund was on time, he has good knowledge of Lapland livinhood, habits and traditions. Highly recommended local company.

Very pleasant day! Unfortunately many of the animals were not able to be seen. We had a guide Eero who was fantastic! He is a local who grew up in the Lapland. He was a wealth of information and knowledge about the animals, the land, and the culture.

It’s a very nice zoo featuring cold weather animals.. we were unable to see all the animals due to the season. Eero … our guide.. more than made up for that. A Lapland native, he is a wealth of information about the land, the people, and the environment.
