This turned out to be better than expected actually, I'm not sure what the negative reviews were expecting. Yes, it isn't huge but they do pack quite a lot in, try seeing it through the eyes of a child. All of the staff 'elves' stayed in character but one of them absolutely made the day for my two daughters. I hope she gets recognised for this, but whoever played Elf Nelphine at the Ice Princess area was amazing. She sat and spoke to my daughters, made them laugh, made them dance and really made the trip magical for them, they still talk about her. All in all we had a great day at Santa Park.

Santa Claus Village:
Crowded, loud and very commercial. Full of tourist busses and souvenir shops. We couldn’t feel any Christmas spirit in this place.
The Elves farmyard saved our day. It’s a bit off the crowds and has great slides for children, marshmallow barbecue and feeding reindeer. Though, the entrance fee to Elves Farmyard is hefty - everything is expensive in Lappland.
Santa Park:
After the experience in Santa’s Village, we didn’t expect anything from Santa Park, but got pleasantly surprised.
Yes, it is expensive and very commercial in most parts. But the Elves School, Gingerbread Bakery and Workshop provide a nice setting and entertainment for younger kids.
We do recommend visiting Santa Park IF you have small children (2-5 yrs probably ideal), and are looking for something to do indoors to escape the freezing cold.
The tickets are good for 2 days, although you can see everything in 4-5 hrs. I recommend being there early in the morning to avoid the crowds and waiting times.

Pure scam. Even if you go with children. Very overpriced for what they offer, which is a bunch of expensive shops.
Santas park is insulting for the intelligence of both kids and adults.
