We spent a wonderful day with Gianmaria. First, we went to Pisa. He explained the history of the tower. From there, we went to Florence. He explained a lot about Florence, the wall, the historical structures, the markets, the bridges and more. It was a Sun. on a Holiday wk/end and the crowds were overwhelming. So... he offered us Plan B which we quickly chose! He took us through the Tuscan countryside with stops at vineyards. Final stop a vineyard with tour, lunch and wine tasting! Great tour!!
Our guide, Emiliano, was wonderful. He showed us beautiful sites in Florence that we would have missed on our own. We enjoyed a great lunch at Casa Toscana at his recommendation. We added tickets to the Galleria dell' Accademia Museum to see the original of Michelangelo's David. It was amazing and we enjoyed spending time seeing all the beautiful works of art. Pisa was also a highlight. Emiliano was very knowledgeable and pointed out so many landmarks during our tour. It was a memorable and truly enjoyable experience!

I took four private tours while in Europe, and all were good, actually, for all but one the guides were excellent, but my experience with Limo Service in Italy was my very favorite!
To begin with, Eva, who works in the office, was wonderful. She responded quickly to all communications, even making a call to me in the states to discuss what I wanted to do because I was unsure of which itinerary to choose. She was prompt, professional, friendly, and extremely helpful.
The tour itself was made great because of our guide. Valerio. He was so engaging, with just the perfect personality for his chosen vocation. He greeted us at the port with a smile and a plan, but checking in with us to make sure we were going to get out of the day what we wanted. We had limited time so we needed to be a little choosy. He drove us through the Tuscan countryside while humoring me with Italian lessons and making a stop to take photos at a winery before heading to Florence. It was a long drive made short and enjoyable by his knowledge, great conversation and laughs.
In Florence he took us to Piazza Michelangelo, later got our tickets to see "David" and even went back to his van to retrieve my phone for me because I had accidentally left it behind. Afterward, he took us to a shop to observe a leather artisan, then to a local spot for a yummy lunch and helped us pick a good wine. Although I joked that I like "all the wine", it was really nice to have someone knowledgeable help you choose well. He even joined us for lunch, which we really enjoyed. After some free time on our own, he dropped a pin to help us find our way back to him, and we had another fun ride back to the port in Livorno.
Listen, you can get anyone to drive you to see the "David" and the other amazing sites of Italy, but it was Valerio that really made the day special for us. If I had the trip to do over again, I would have also used Limo Service in Italy for the tour we'd had the previous day of the Amalfi Coast, and, if possible, I would request Valerio.
Thank you, Eva and Val, for a great experience. You are the best! :)
