  • Florence can be very warm in the summer. Please be advised that this tour includes portions that are outside and could be in the full sun. Please bring a hat, small umbrella, or sunscreen if you are sensitive to the sun.
  • Clients must arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of the tour. This is due to the timed entry of the tickets.
  • Tickets are timed and expire within 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Please be advised that it is not possible to join the tour after it has commenced.
  • Please note that the Cathedral is closed to all tourists on Sundays. Instead, we will visit the Ancient Basilica of Santa Reparata (the Crypt).
  • Tips/gratuities (for your guide) are always appreciated.
  • There are 463 steps to climb the dome at the end of the tour (and no elevator).
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Excellent guided tour of Florence’s Duomo and Opera del Duomo museum. Very knowledgeable guide who shared her extensive knowledge of Florence’s history and made the visit extra special. Tour included a visit on our own to the Duomo’s cupola (464 steps!) that was quite rewarding. Not just because of the stunning views of Florence but also because of the proximity to the cupola’s frescos on our way up and again doen. Really incredible. Highly recommended!
