Treat your taste buds on a full-day Chianti wine and food tour from Florence and sample some of Tuscany’s finest wine, cheese, meat, chocolate and more!     Our first stop of the day is at a beautiful winery belonging to one of the most prestigious Italian aristocratic families. Here we taste three wines paired with cured meats and two olive oils but first, there’s a fascinating guided tour of the historic wine cellars and to the olive mill through underground tunnels that pass under the villa.

    Now buckle-up and get ready for some off-roading through ancient woodland and rolling hills, outlined with cypress trees and dotted with rustic farms and churches, to make our way to a typical Tuscan winery restaurant with stunning views.     We go deeper into the Chianti hills and enjoy more incredible countryside on our way to a Chianti Classico vineyard. As a contrast to the established winery of the morning, this one is smaller and less known though does have two award winning wines which you will taste as you find out how ancient tradition and innovation have been combined to create them.

Fantastic trip - we highly recommend it. Two families (with older children ages 22-27); all ages loved the day. Our guide, Lavi, was fabulous:easy going and offered just the right amount of good information about wine, regional history, and winemaking - perfect for all levels of wine knowledge - and took the time to answer questions. Wines were terrific, lunch at a countryside restaurant was enjoyed by all (the truffle raviolis were unlike any we have ever tried in the US - delicious). In addition to our 9, we had a really nice group of people on our tour. Very relaxed and fun.

Great wine, great scenery, great food, and Alex was the BEST guide. Highly recommend to anyone, whether they want to learn about wine or just have fun!

My wife and I went on this tour in early April and loved it! It was arguably the highlight of our stay in Florence. Alex was a great tour guide, very knowledgable on the wineries we were visiting and the wine we tried. Each winery we visited was beautiful and very charming. Lunch was also at a great spot outside of the city. It was great to visit a restaurant outside of the hustle and bustle of Florence.
