Head to the coast for a day in Italy’s Cinque Terre on a private (this is not a shared tour) 10-hour trip from Florence. Listed as a UNESCO site, the region is made up of five charming fishing villages that cling to the cliffs. Visit Manarola, Vernazza, and Corniglia, and travel between them by boat or train. In each village, you’ll have time to wander the streets, browse local shops, eat, and soak up the sea views. The tour itinerary is designed to achieve the most from you day and as much as possible we are ready to customize it to meet your expectations. we were spending a few days in Florence as a family, but wanted to make a day trip to Cinque Terre to do some exploring. We looked at train options, but saw that it would take over three hours with all of the connections, so we decided to book the private tour and so glad we did. The van was very comfortable and Tomasso was a wonderful guide - so friendly and knowledgeable about the area and much of the Tuscan region as well. He and the company owner were very accommodating to us as a private group - we wanted to do some formal touring but also some independent hiking and he adjusted the itinerary accordingly. We got to explore Corniglia and Manarola, do a 3 mile hike, and experience the fast train between the different towns. Especially if you have limited time, highly recommend this option!!

This tour was a highlight of our trip. Nunzio was so wonderful and tailored the trip to us, he had great recommendations. He set us up to hike part of the Cinque Terre trail and made a lunch reservation at a delicious restaurant with an incredible view. Couldn't have been happier!

We had a wonderful day with our guide! He was very kind and thorough. We don't usually do guided tours because I prefer to plan things myself. However, I am SO glad I didn't do it this time. Our guide took care of everything, which was amazing!
