After seeing cathedrals, museums, statues, etc., we wanted to do something a little different. This fit the bill. The venue was very intimate (small), which kind of made it feel like a private performance. The singers had powerful voices (which mostly overwhelmed the loud fan/air conditioning unit), and the pianist was very good as well. They recommended “smart casual” dress beforehand — there was a wide range of attire some were dressed semi-formally, while others seemed dressed too casually. The performers were dressed professionally — the men in suits, and the woman in a formal gown. It was fun, but i only give it four stars due to the loud fan in the back.

Against a quaint backdrop of an enchanting little church, the arias were sung beautifully. I would definitely recommend this experience.

We had a few problems finding the venue which is next to a hostel and opposite a laundry if that helps anyone else The programme contained many favourites and the performances were animated and passionate. Given that it was in the middle of a heatwave I marvel at their stamina. Thanks for a great evening of music. Shame the venue was so hot.
