We were met right on time by our guide, Elizabetha. We rode in an air-conditioned van. The minute we started the drive to Pisa our guide shared lots of information about the area we were in and about the city we were going to. She was so enthusiastic and shared her love of the beauty we saw. She got us to the leaning tower of Pisa in a timely matter and helped us make the most of our time. We were able to walk the steps up to the top without having to wait very long and we were able to get as many pictures as we wanted. Then we hopped back into the van and drove to Florence. She shared lots of facts and history about the city and about what we were seeing at the moment. Elizabetha shared fun stories as well. She took us to the top so that we could view the whole beautiful city. Took photos and enjoyed that area. Then we went down to the center of Florence where the cathedral was. She explained what to see, where to eat, and where to shop. Most important where to meet her. Great food and great shopping. Loved the leather market. Afterwards she picked us up and we were off to the ship. We returned with plenty of time. Elizabetha was the best. Loved having her as are guide.

This tour was perfect for our needs, family of 5 adults one of which had some mobility limitations. We were able to adjust the time we spent in both Pisa and Florence. Out guide, Elisabet, was outstanding! Her knowledge of the sites and ability to get around in the tight street quarters were amazing. Because we were in a van, she was able to take us right to the center of Florence within the old walls where buses aren't able to go. She also took us to Michaelangelo Square where there is a great view of the whole city. On the way back to the ship she took a little side trip to provide us with a spectacular view of a typical Tuscany landscape for pictures. She was waiting for us when we disembarked our ship and returned us in plenty of time for departure.
