    Cinque Terre are five coastal villages in eastern Liguria that make up a UNESCO World Heritage site! Here, a train links the five different villages together. A small group tour with a max of 8 people is the perfect solution for those who want to keep the costs down and at the same time touch as many destinations as possible without being in a 54-seat bus. Your driver will be with you for the entire day. He will escort you on the boat, trail and train. - Public boats operate subject to weather conditions and along the Cinque Terre from April until about the 3rd week of October.

  • Borgo Storico di Manarola, Manarola, Italy
    Arrive at Manarola by black mercedes minivan and from there you will take the boat to Monterosso al Mare.Manarola may be the oldest of the towns in the Cinque Terre, with the cornerstone of the church, San Lorenzo, dating from 1338. The local dialect is Manarolese, which is marginally different from the dialects in the nearby area. The name "Manarola" is probably a dialectical evolution of the Latin, "magna rota". In the Manarolese dialect this was changed to "magna roea" which means "large wheel", in reference to the mill wheel in the town.

  • Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi, 17, 19016 Monterosso al Mare SP, Italy
    Monterosso al Mare, a small village with a population of about 1500 soul, this is the largest village! Stone steps link the village center to the port and seaside promenade. Monterosso al Mare is surrounded by hills bedecked in vineyards and olive groves. Thursday is market day: displaying local arts and crafts, food, and wine. Be sure to see the Twelfth Century Church of St. Francis, built in the Ligurian Gothic style, which includes black and white marbles.

  • Footpath Monterosso - Vernazza, Monterosso al Mare, Italy
    From Monterosso al Mare you can hike to Vernazza (120 minutes), or take the train instead enjoying just a 5 minutes ride. To hike in the footpath there is a tickets to pay on your own onsite. If you decide to hike you will have just 10 minutes to spend in Monterosso al Mare. These ancient trails are rough but manageable. Be prepared for the hiking – although the path is open to everyone, remember that the ground can be slippery, uneven, and in places steep and narrow. The charm of the area is that it is natural and unspoiled; do not expect handrails or safety rails when steps are steep or when the path is close to the cliff edge. The driver will follow the small group by train.

  • Vernazza, Vernazza, Italy
    Vernazza is the only natural port of the five villages. Being the wealthiest village its architecture is most elaborate. In Vernazza we can have a cooling swim in the sea, a nice shower and we can enjoy a delicious lunch made of uthentic Pesto Pasta and fresh Mediterrean seafood (not included in the price). Train from Vernazza to Manarola and back on the Black Mercedes minivan on the way to Florence with a quick stop to see Pisa Leaning tower. Please note: - Public boats operate subject to weather conditions and along the Cinque Terre from April until about the 3rd week of October. - The driver/guide will thoroughly introduce the places being visited, from a cultural, historical and artistic viewpoint while walking or driving to and through them, but is not licensed to give in depth explanations at sights or guide inside churches, or museums.

  • Piazza dei Miracoli, Pisa, Italy
    Continue to Pisa. Free time to see the Leaning Tower and walk around Piazza dei Miracoli to see its other celebrated monuments: Pisa Baptistery, Pisa Duomo. During the hour-long visit, you’ll also discover Piazza dei Cavalieri, home to the historic university Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa. The tour will reach the Pisa tower at around 16:30. Usually it is enough to look at it from the outside, it is beautiful. However if you want to reserve your own tickets to climb it, you can do it choosing 16:45 as the time. Entrance Leaning tower's tickets are not not included. Back on our black Mercedes Minivan on the way to Florence.

I experienced a few large group tours 20-30 people. This was SO much better than that! I Just Drive is maybe a bit unique in that this tour isn't really a tour. Its just managed logistics. And thats a good thing! Our guide Emiliano was ontime and very professional. The van was a Mercedes, looks brand new and equipped with wifi. The seats were comfortable and had ample room for the 8 people (full tour) on the van. Emiliano even brought bottled water for us! It was a 2 hour drive to Riomaggiore, on the way we stopped at La Spezia to take in a scenic view of the bay. When we arrived in Riomaggiore, Emiliano explained how the day would go: We'd have 1 hour to tour Riomaggingiore, then we'd take the ferry to Manarola where we'd have another hour. Then we'd take the train to Vernazza where we'd 2 hours to eat lunch and tour Vernazza. Then we'd take the train back to Riomaggiore and tour the medieval church before heading to Pisa. The villages of the Cinque Terre are very small. 1 hour is plenty of time to shop, stop for a cappuccino and take pictures of the town. We never felt rushed or that we didn't have enough time to see what we wanted to see. The trade off is that we only saw 3 of the 5 villages, but I think we got a great feel for the CT. We trusted Emiliano to make lunch reservations for us and we had a table waiting for us when we arrived in Vernazza along with a special menu waiting for us. It was a great way to get a good lunch in about an hour (fast by Italian standards). After our tour of the CT, we left Riomaggiore and drove about 1.5 hours to Pisa. Again, this is just managed logistics, if you want to climb the tower or enter the basilica or baptistry, you need to book your own tickets ahead of time! I had booked timed tickets for the Leaning Tower (based on I Just Drive's agenda) and we were there right on time for me to climb the Tower! We were in Pisa less than an hour, but that was enough time for me to experience the Tower and explore the Field of Miracles. It would not have been enough time for any other tour/attraction though... Back in the van and Emiliano drove us back to Florence and dropped us off 2 minutes early. I was pretty amazed at the efficiency of the tour. They clearly have this dialed in! We didn't waste any time waiting for people to show up or meet back up with the group. It was very easy. Highly recommended!

We saw everything and because it was private we moved at the pace we wanted to which was fast. Rami gave us great suggestions at each stop so we could get the best photo while having the best experience. I felt so lucky to have that guidance and such clear explanations on how to see the most at each site. It was also great having someone know the timetables for transportation between the stops. His driving was wonderful too. He offered the wifi which was helpful during the full day of driving. Rami is a great person who this company should be proud to have represent their brand.

This was a perfect small group (6 person) tour of Cinque Terre and Pisa. Our Driver and guide for the day, Daniel, was very knowledgeable and share some great information and details about everything we saw. This is a Must-Do Day Excursion from Florence!
