You will have the opportunity to visit all the different monuments and attractions in the heart of Piazza del Duomo with our expert guides of Florence. What makes us different? We accompany you step by step through all the monuments that make up the Duomo, without you having to find where the seats are and skip the line whenever possible with carefree. If you let yourself be guided, you will visit the Baptistery of San Giovanni, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, the Crypt of Santa Reparata, the Museum of the Opera del Duomo and the Dome of Brunelleschi. Inside the museum you will have the opportunity to see with your own eyes the Gates of Paradise Ghiberti. Then you will continue through the entrance of the Cathedral, including a visit to the Crypt of Santa Reparata. At the end you will climb the Brunelleschi Dome or the Giotto's Bell Tower, depending on the availability of the day. You will enjoy the incomparable view of the city of Florence.

We enjoyed our personal tour with our knowledgeable guide, Giacomo. He was able to tell us about the Cathedral's history and the significance of its art in a passionate way. Sadly, the Baptistry was closed but Giacomo was able to give us an appreciation of its importance. A highlight was seeing the preserved doors of the Baptistry and climbing the hundreds of steps to the top of Bruneschelli's dome.

Our guide, was amazing. So much energy, enthusiasm and knowledge. This was our 4th time in Florence. We had never been inside the Baptistery, it didn’t disappoint . It is really worth the extra money to do private tours. You get much more out of the experience.

Booked the day before, received confirmation, and adjusted train tickets to Venice to go on this tour before we left Florence. The guide never showed up. No response to my written messages before hand. Once we spoke with the company they said they weren’t receiving messages from Viator. Maybe a technical issue. But no apology from Viator or the tour company. Just a lost morning trying to figure the mess out. Definitely get a second confirmation and use this service with caution.
